In HB analysis, there is an option called as TAHB ( Transient Assisted harmonic balance). Use this option if your oscillator seems to be not working. Hello, I have a little problem regarding the simulation of an amplifier with a driver. The thing is that the simulation terminates due to convergence problems. I have tried many options, like changing the solver, etc. Now I thought, that it may be possible to simulate the driver and the amplifier separately and combine the results in the end.

Hi, When harmonic balance analysis if performed in ads with a noise controller, the phase and amplitude noise is found by plotting .pnmx and .anmx. Does anyone know if .anmx is double-sideband power or single-sideband power?

I am trying to plot the voltage at the nodes of a diode across a frequency sweep. So what I do is put in the swept variable (harmonic balance) the frequency variable. you have to capacitively decouple the input and output in ads for harmonic balance. What specific issue are you having? just connect the input and output termination (with dc block as mentioned above)
ads calls IP3 TOI, Third Order Intercept. TOI and -1dB are done using harmonic balance they should have design guides or examples built in just look around or use the help. Good luck
