Hello Friends, Could any one kindly suggest a bare minimum arm board with the following features arm cortex multi-core (can be A, R or M series), but has to be multi-core, dual, quad or octa core, anything is ok. Must have on-board standard 20 pin jtag connector, board should be (...)
Based on guessing what you meant. You have been tasked with designing a Zynq design with the arm connected to a memory? If so just use the block design tool and add an arm and a memory, then use the auto connection feature to get those two parts to hook up. There will be a tab that allows you to modify the address map of (...)
Hello, I plan to establish communication to read write between two processors. On one side is a quad core arm cortex A9 processor on a ASIC (MCIMX6) and on the other side is a FPGA (ZC7020). I don't have any PCIe hard ports on the FPGA side. So there are two ways of establishing communication between these two processsors. If I intend to (...)
the device is for a medical diagnostic Depending on the kind and amount of real time processing required, an approach based only on an arm core may be overloaded, leading it to the limit of its capacity.
Hi How to implement micro-controller for four different sensing micro-controller. For example, low power sensing one mode, high power sensing one mode, low power sensing two mode, high power sensing two mode, etc. how to get out of each mode, how to write the interrupt and handle those interrupt. Does anyone have experience on ho
1GHz and lower than 100$us??? and you don't like the raspberry pi? I think the new raspberry pi 2 with it's quad core arm SoC should be enough. + it's cheap, very cheap! 35$us + arm Cortex-A7 processor (32 bit) quad core at 900Mhz that you can overclock(careful there) has USB (...)
I'm looking for a specific file used for compiling the SIM900 core for use with embeddedAT (using the arm-none-eabi toolchain rather than RVCT). Firstly, the STM8S is not an arm core architecture, but a propriety 8-bit microcontroller core designed by ST. Secondly, to maximize the baud rate, TX/RX distance and decrease the susceptibility to RF noise, typically you will need to implement some method of encoding, like Manchester Encoding, when utilizing ASK/OOK RF (...)

There are too many overlapping criteria in many cases to give you a simple answer. The simpler PIC and AVR chips are quite similar in capabilities and often the choice is simply personal preference. Both are designed with more I/O control capabilities than actual processing power. PIC32 are newer though and have a 32 bit MIPS (...)

The read operation of a processor is expecting an immediate answer, in so far a FIFO won't help much. The ususal method is by synchronizing the asynchronous processor control signals (RD, WR, CS) to the other clock domain and process it therein. At the arm side, wait states have to be added in the bus setup of the respective peripheral address rang
