Hi all, I am looking for a smd bridge rectifier that can convert mill volts from magnetic inductance a convert to DC without much loss. Please suggest a part number that sees fit. Thanks
LDR resistance is not generally very precisely specified or linear. LDRs do not output anything, you need to pass a current through them and measuire the voltage they drop to calculate their resistance. From the resistance you should be able to extract the irradiance using figures on the data sheet but the only practical way to eliminate non-linea
Hai, I am using a pressure sensor, with 4 to 20 mA current output. For measuring current output i am using max 4072 IC. Is it going to work?
Just google for ' 4mA to 20mA current LOOP RECEIVER' and you will find few solutions even on first page.
Hello everyone !!! I've got a N+1 ports system ( a corporate feed array : N patch + 1 feed, without the patch, just the feeds) on the circuit simulator on ansoft designer v2. I have the scattering parameters of this network and now i need (using matlab) to evaluate the current at each port by the S-matrix and then, with this currents, exciting
Hi All, I have seen some active sensors are powered using current and voltage sources.and the output is measured using the ADC"s in the microcontroller, so my doubts is why some peoples are using the current source to drive the sensosr and then convert to voltage source using the current to voltage (...)
Hi, it seems your circuit needs no current... Look for "SEPIC" or "buck-boost" switch mode converters. Many manufacturers of switch mode controller ICs have interactive selection guides where you can find the most suitable IC for your application: One example SEPIC: Klaus
Alternatively, if there is no way to plot the current in a sheet, is there a way to convert an imported sheet model into a solid, so I can plot it from there? You can convert a sheet into object in HFSS in following way Modeler -> Surface -> Create Object from Face Successful completion of simulation does not m
Hello I'm usnig ATmega8 with ADE7753, display on 4 digit seven segment. I already read/ write ADE7753 register's bits n display register's default value on 7-segment (e.g. I read MODE (0x09) register's default hex value (0x000C) and displayed on 4-digit 7 segment like 0012 in decimal). Means there is no issue with SPI communication, read/
Assuming you are using 5V VDD and 5V as the ADC reference: 1. Use a 10:1 potential divider. If the current into the divider has to be very low (=high value resistors) follow it with a buffer amplifier. 2. Depends on the response time you need but simplest method is to convert the AC to DC and use a potential divider for the voltage. For the freque
Hi, Im tracing out thickness detector circuit (attached herewith) in which first stage of op amp is used to convert photo diode current to voltage. Could nt understand the op amp configuration in second stage. is it a comparator? Kindly suggest me. 129341
current version of QUCS can convert CIR files. Is there any convenient way of converting spice models in 2G6 format? There are too many syntactical errors.
What power? current limitations? Efficency? For non-isolated hard to get -12 from +48. First it should convert it to +12, than to -12. It is possible, but efficency will be poor.
I need to convert from DC(dirrect current) AC for my laptop. Is their any device which can do that?
Don't know how you calculated it, but CT of 22 pF is beyond a reasonable range. The device can't switch that fast and will convert most of the input power into switching losses, leaving about no available output current. I don't believe that MC34063 is well suited for about 2W output with 3.3V input.
Hello All, I am working on Project of Measurement of Power factor with PIC18F4520 MCU with External Crystal Osc 4 MHz and MPLAB XC8. My Voltage ZCD and current ZCD are working fine as checked on CRO. Can any body give me given how to convert Time value to cos (phi) in C. I am doing a
Transformers match only the “real” part of the impedance. Transformers convert source power from one voltage and current level, to another voltage and current level, keeping (faithfully) their ratio.
It's hard to tell from the post exactly what you are looking for, or what your current program is doing. A guess would be: convert binary data from six switches to 2 decimal digits. Something like the code below, using integer arithmetic, could be used: input = PORTC; // read the switches input = input & 0x3f; // mask upper
If you stay using that battery then there's no way to solve that problem, because if you want x watts from a 12v battery, then your battery has to ship x/12 amps....and that current , as you say, is heating it up to that solution, other than get a different battery...unless you find a way to get rid of the heat from the ca
Hi mates i am using howland current source to convert 1-5 Volts to 4-20mA; I have tested attached circuit in multisim it works good (as can bee seen in table). However I have put the same circuit on general purpose PCB but i get results as: Volts output current 1 3.91 1.5 (...)
I have a circuit set up as differential input with op-amps running of a -/+5V supply, this is so it can measure current flow in either direction it boosts the voltage from 0-60mV to 0-3.73V and the other part converts the signal to a positive voltage regardless current flowing in and out. This is working very good but I would like to a - (...)
If your application doesn't need 5V, it would be more appropriate to convert to 3.3V in the first level, particularly if you plan to use linear regulators. You should have a rough idea about the current consumption of each power net, e.g. by using the Altera power estimation tool, to decide if linear regulator are accpectable. Starting from a
LED current and pulsed versus DC operation will be commanded by your application. Nobody can answer the question without knowing your optical design. We can guess that modulated light (=pulsed LED) may be preferable because it's a way to get rid of ambient light interferences.
I have a circuit that will check whether the current in a wire exceed a threshold. Something like an overcurrent detector. That circuit use a simple current transformer (CT) to convert the current to AC voltage signal. The signal from the CT will then be smothed and converted to DC singal (...)
Unless you know that your supply is regulated , expect up to 40% variation from full load up to no LED load. So choice of solution is best with LDO for efficiency and regulation NPN with zener is ok but not 1% as shown as they also have 7% tolerance typical at a max current and maybe 5% for a 1W type with less dissipation. A
Any idea how to convert voltage to current linearly without using opamp or just using simple circuit? For example, Vin=1V, the output current will be 100uA. Vin=2V, the output current will be 200uA. Do not use power-consumption circuit, such as opamp. Thanks.
convert load to Watt-hours and decide on t in fraction of an hour, H and then size the battery based on cost and Watt-hours capacity using power avail = Vavg*Ah duration ~ Vavg*Ah / average load power ~ Ah rating for similar duration divided by load current. keep in mind that Ah drops in capacity from 20C to C to C/20 as ratings
I'm looking for a way to convert TTL level digital(Can be PWM too) signals to 0-12 or 0-24 volt logic signals... The high level for the signals can vary from 9 volt to 32 volts. The circuit should be capable of sourcing a current of upto 50-100mA and sink the same... It should be protected against short to bat as well as short to ground condition
Hi, I was wondering why boost converter is mostly used for PFC applications? I have a couple of ideas myself, and I wanted to confirm these with expert opinions. I have just compared buck and boost, these two being the most simple form of SMPS. I don't know if any other topology is used in PFC applications. I think the reasons may be: 1- Driv
There's a problem here. Your initial question states that you're trying to convert a current input, and then your final equation is for a voltage input. Which is it? Are you missing something?
There is no instruction on MATLAB to include external files, just add their paths on system variable environment or copy them to the same directory of the current program.
You amaze me with your understanding on basic magnetic fields from current loops. If you want to eliminate radiated noise in a loop, convert to DC with MOSFET driving L,C to output. ESR of C plus wiring must be 0.1% of ESR of source to get 60dB filtering. Floating secondary will be prone to increased radiation from CM fields, so RF cap to Earth
Are you sure about your question? Asking because of the same current range at the both the sides. In that case first convert the specified current into voltage, Isolate it and then convert it back to the current range which is required. This is could be the better way to do it.
I need to display temperature by measuring the current (Indirect temperature measurement). The current to temperature readings are not perfect linear but its a very smooth curve. Now I need a mathematical formula to convert the current into temperature. All I need to enter the starting & end value. Is it possible? Can some (...)
C dividers are safer at high voltage and lossless. then decide if delta or Y I sensors may be expensive CT or cheap but custom Hall sensors then scale to your ADC range , add filters and decide if you want Vavg or V pk or true rms and convert accordingly Decide on range, accuracy, and metrics 1st eg. mean, std dev, peak , transient pk, V-sec o
I am going to echo what FvM said above. You can just grab one of the outputs of the differential opamp and tie it to your next stage. You will lose half of the effective differential gain that way. On the other hand, you can modify the differential opamp to have current mirror load to simply convert it to a single-ended output. You would retain th
First you convert mA to V and V to deg C You can either convert in Analog for meter or in digital code if using ADC which would not use the full range of ADC but may be accurate enough. To read temperature 50~400'C for 4~20mA input you need gain and offset using an Op Amp and precision reference voltage in the inverting input or use a negat
Hi all, I just start to learn verilog-a and want to create a voltage-controlled current source(vccs) in cadence virtuoso. I learned that cadence would check my syntax automatically and create the symbol if the code is OK. However, when I open a new cellview in verilog-a, I can't save the code, so I can't convert the code to symbol... When

Hi All, if I want to play with the PSR of a circuit block(for exmaple, op-amp), an AC signal is injected into VCC, and I want to use an ideal ac gain block to amplifier this AC signal and convert it to a current source. Would anyone teach me what is the easiest way, to implement Vin(ac) to Iout(ac)? Thank you! 114937
Hi, please post the signal conditioning circuit... How you convert AC current into DC voltage. I am enclosing my circuit used for some application working fine 114839
It's correct to use a 250 ohm shunt to convert 4-20 mA to 0.5-5V. But the resistor isn't connected correctly in your diagram. It has to be connected between ground and analog input pin with the sensor output current feed to junction of resistor and analog pin. You should also include the ground connection of the sensor in your diagram and clarify i
i am new to maxq3180. i successfully communicate with maxq3180 through spi. but i dont understand how to acess the registar and how to convert actual voltage and current. i read some registar like volt_cc,current_cc,power_cc but value have no affect if line voltage is removed.please help me. thanks in advance.
" the current at output > current at input ". To get this you need some form of convertor which in essence is a DC transformer. The conservation of power must hold, so if the input is 50 V at 1A (50 W), you can only get 50W out, i.e. 5 V at 10 A. These circuits convert the input DC into an AC, then transform it to another AC (...)
How do you plan to convert the 3V to 9V efficiently? Is 3V the MPT operating voltage (max power transfer) or the open circuit voltage and short circuit current at max solar input power? I assume you phone uses 9V input down to 6V? Is that a Lithium rechargeable 9V cell? I think a 1N4100 (not IN4100) is a 7.5V zener and the
Hi, A voltage to current converter circuit can be used. For your purpose a R2R DAC for converting the 8 BIT input into a control voltage, should be the cheapest/easiest implementation.
No SSR's are switches that do not turn off until the holding current is removed.
convert voltage sources with series resistors into current sources with parallel resistors and add currents and find equivalent res..then again use source conversion o I dont know how to do it can you show me one example please Thanks.
