LDR resistance is not generally very precisely specified or linear. LDRs do not output anything, you need to pass a current through them and measuire the voltage they drop to calculate their resistance. From the resistance you should be able to extract the irradiance using figures on the data sheet but the only practical way to eliminate non-linea

Many manufacturers of switch mode controller ICs have interactive selection guides where you can find the most suitable IC for your application:

Assuming you are using 5V VDD and 5V as the ADC reference:
1. Use a 10:1 potential divider. If the current into the divider has to be very low (=high value resistors) follow it with a buffer amplifier.
2. Depends on the response time you need but simplest method is to convert the AC to DC and use a potential divider for the voltage. For the freque

Don't know how you calculated it, but CT of 22 pF is beyond a reasonable range. The device can't switch that fast and will convert most of the input power into switching losses, leaving about no available output current.
I don't believe that MC34063 is well suited for about 2W output with 3.3V input.

Unless you know that your supply is regulated , expect up to 40% variation from full load up to no LED load.
So choice of solution is best with LDO for efficiency and regulation
NPN with zener is ok but not 1% as shown as they also have 7% tolerance typical at a max current and maybe 5% for a 1W type with less dissipation.

" the current at output > current at input ". To get this you need some form of convertor which in essence is a DC transformer. The conservation of power must hold, so if the input is 50 V at 1A (50 W), you can only get 50W out, i.e. 5 V at 10 A. These circuits convert the input DC into an AC, then transform it to another AC (...)
