Hii i want to calculate electric field distribution within a dielectric slab due to direct contact with an antenna using 3D fdtd . plz tell me how can i calculate the electric field distribution using 3D fdtd. i want to see the varriation of electric field with x, y and z direction within the dielectric slab. plz help me. i want to do this us
hi, I'm new in fdtd, can anyone help me? how can I learn it fast? :?:
hi here some intersting books wich can help you - Computational Electrodynamics: The Finite - Difference Time - Domain ( allen TAFLOVE) -Electromagnetic Simulation Using the fdtd Method
see methods of electromagnetics by Sadiku, i think it has solution of wave equation using fdtd
Excuse me, it is known that the properties of PML is defined well by polynomial approximation in the fdtd bible by allen Taflove. however, is there any difference just at the interface between the vacuum region and PML domain. Sigma=(x(n)/lambda).^m at this point, at the interface, x should be equal to zero. is that means the Sigma at the interf

Hi, What is FTDT? can you give some book talking about it. thanx I think you mean: fdtd (Finite Difference Time Domain) this is a numerical method for analysis of field problem (e.g. in waveguides or other microwave network or antenna and radiation problems) by this method you solve your problem
I have tried to implement the UPML ABC for fdtd in Matlab, by following the textbook written by allen Taflove. but I still have trouble to get it going. Does anyone has a sample fdtd code using UPML so that I can have a good look at it? Thanks
This is copy of allen Taflove's fdtd CD associated with Computational Electrodynamics book - Artech House 2000
Computational Electrodynamics: The Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method (w CD-ROM), by allen Taflove, Susan C. Hagness, Artech House; 2nd edition, contains some simple fdtd matlab codes.
