Is this only for a plane wave? If so, just assign a perfect E boundary to the x-axis walls and a perfect H boundary to the y-axis walls. You could also use a floquet port setup with master-slave boundaries for a more complicated setup, as described in the HFSS help.

Hi sztr, You need to do pretty much what HFSS is telling you to do: ensure that the floquet port is touching orthogonal Master/Slave boundaries. There are some good tutorials included with HFSS that explain how to use floquet ports.

Hi, i am using master/slave boundary + floquet port, but by seting scan angle 'Theta' in Tab 'Phase Delay' of Slave boundary Properties there are some problems like the design does not converge and simulation stops at 11th pass. I believe the floquet port must be on the outside perimiter of your setup, i.e. touching the background. For example, if you have a vacuum box around your simulation object, the floquet ports must be on the surface of this box.
