Here is example RTC interface 80c51 family. If your ht1380 is serial i2c RTC, this code is can be applied:
Hi I4m trying to interface a PIC (f84) with a Serial timekeeper from Holtek ht1380, has anybody already written some routines to communicate with the ht1380?? What kind of routine should I use to read or write
also read datasheet ht1380 and DS1302 #include #include < reg51.h> sbit CE = P0^0; sbit SCLK = P0^1; sbit IO = P0^2; /***************************************************************************/ /* Prototypes */ /*****************************************
You can find C sources to interface ht1380 (HT1381 is the same... only package changes) at the URL Bye
I use a 3V lithium battery and simple 2 diode (1n4148) arrangement to battery back the ht1380. Works fine. The RTC needs about 2V to keep operating. The small current from battery causes a very small drop of <0.5v on VCC. No particular need for a schottky diode.
RTC - 8051 interfacing discuss on this forum last week : How to interface the RTC ht1380 with ? Controller 89C51
Dear all, Please help me to find out the Military grade versions of the following components, as even after my best efforts, I am failed to search out the same. The operating temperature above 100°C will be sufficient for my purpose. 1) Microcontroller 8051 2) ADC 0820 3) RTC ht1380 4) Crystals 20MHz & 32.768KHz Regards, Mak
