Hello, I'd like to be recommended a chip, with 100 ~305 V input and 12~36V output. The output current is expected to be in the 20A grade, that is 20A max, it works at around 2~5 A I'm using it to drive an array of LEDs for illumination as well as branching one for my MCU. I'm looking for isolated solution, but non-isolated are also welcome
Hi guys, currently, I'm working in the design of a small robot for a nice personal project. I would like to put a feedback illumination signal, and I like a lot the effect I saw some time ago in a Disney park (please see video attached). As you can see in this small video, it's basicaly a light spinning continously, I can't see any discrete l
Assuming a constant slope in double logarithmic R versus illumination plot is just a simplification. In contrast to the 0.75 slope given by vGoodtimes, I see "gamma" numbers of 0.8 to 0.95 for PE/Excelitas photocells. Real LDR photocells have more or less bent curves in the double logarith
Hi All, I need to design 36" x 9" in cassegrain configuration operating in E-band (Narrow bandwidth). I know how to design regular casssegrain but in this case I'm worry about the horn/sub-reflector blockages. Is splash plate design possible for proper illumination for that fan beam? It would be great if I can remove the spa
what are texture and illumination in image? These are texture and illumination in image.
Consider trying a buck-boost converter. By varying the duty cycle, you step voltage up or down. Naturally you cannot break Ohm's law, which means you cannot expect to get more watts out than you put in. Therefore if you step up voltage, you step down Amperes. At times when illumination is dim so that panel voltage goes below 15V, it also puts out
Usually when having many equal LEDs such as for illumination purposes one connects multiple LEDs in series. That usually simplifies the driving electronics, but requires also a higher feeding voltage, as all LED voltage drops in one string are added up. For instance for a white LED a rule-of-thumb forward voltage is 3V or thereabout. (you should co
RED LED's on a wristwatch and calculators begain in the early 70's when we were using sliderules. I recall effective illumination it took the emergence of HB LEDs which instead of GaAs or GaP used combinations of dopants such AlInGaAs in addition to transparent substrates so the bottom emissions would be reflected back out the front. I think th
For an optically switched transmission line, can anyone suggest me for an optimum gap dimension or perhaps any specific design to start with, in order to construct a gap structure which is basically a Si switch, activates (conducts) during illumination and remains open in dark conditions (in CST). And also if someone has already been able to demons
That is complex way to turn on a led. If there is no feedback from lumens reaching the target, illumination will not be very constant as desired due to temperature/distance... Or, keep it simple---->
For vi characterestic of solar cell can anyone let me know that if in illumination type i apply a forward voltage source in across it,and then starting from 0 if i increase the voltage source i will get a current from n- p first ,then p-n i.e photogenerated current and then diffusion this wrong????because in most cases i saw that while
I am trying to simulate a cross-slot nanoantenna. The relevant paper is attached. The design: 101769 The problem Im facing is how the authors were to able to excite the structure? They mention in the paper that " the structures are formed on SiO2 substrates with gold metal patch having no ground, and they are illum
an you also observe that the intensity of an incandescent bulb also changes when this voltage change? Often multimeters show wrong readings because the output is not pure sine wave. A bulb can show the power by its illumination.
illumination LEDs are generally current-controlled and the Vf is almost a "throwaway" parameter - unless you intend to match parallel strings, in which case you care about something the manufacturer doesn't, so much - hence binning rather than process control.
So you mean, the light will be always modulated in a 36 to 40 KHz frequency range. Or the light will be always sourced from a remote control, which excludes continuously modulated signals (e.g. an IR light barrier). Or the light may be unmodulated IR as well (e.g. IR illumination for a camera)? Unfortunately you didn't say that clearly yet. Seco
Feature extraction is a very broad subject area! Depending on your application, it might be good to focus on using scale-invariant, rotation-invariant, and illumination-independent features. Do you have a target hardware platform, software development environment, and programming language? Many of the relevant scientific papers are
For experimentation, try gathering the fibers into a short length of heat shrink tubing, position the ends firmly against an LED, then heat the assembly to secure it (or wrap tape around it). It may be tricky to get adequate illumination through all the fibers. With a 24V signal you need to add a safety resistor, to prevent the LED from frying.
You need to study the photovoltaic panel itself before the charge controller. Briefly: As current is drawn from the panel, the panel voltage drops, not necessarily in a linear fashion. So, there will be a point (voltage, current) at which the maximum power is transferred; where P=IV is a maximum. As the illumination changes, this point changes, so
Wavelength is irrelevant other than consistency with the detector. People also do passive window-vibration-optical pickup, in order to not have a telltale illumination. Go look at your photodiodes, any of them will have a detection efficiency curve somewhere inthe datasheet or app notes and most in the description at electronics distributors. Ab
I need a valid reference of how many lux is needed for room illumination during PRESENTATION using projector (e.g. in classroom). I know 250 lux is enough for studying room, but for presentation, I think it should be less than 250 and I dont know the exact value. Can somebody give me one??
I was wondering if i could ask whether there were different regulations for Emergency Lighting depending on the "type" of Emergency Lighting? For example, "true" Emergency Lighting, could be said to be luminaires which specifically illuminate Emergency Fire Exit Signage, -the luminaire being actually part of an Emergency Exit Sign. Wh
Hi! Can anyone offer any help with:- 1) A circuit diagram for a Logik L22L618B 22" LCD TV fitted with the MTK5330CI_DVD_1.08 PA-0199-2--4TG -UMC E22/13B-GB-TCD-UK -MAIN BOARD please? I have one of these sets working but no LCD illumination! The TV/DVD is otherwise working and plays DVDs OK - I got a replacement IVS19408 Invertor board
The measurement suggests that most of the current available from the photodiode (short circuit current Isc) at the present illumination level is flowing through the diode. So what's the exact problem? Are you expecting a higher Isc value or a different diode I/V characteristic?
Got specs? 2000 Lumen? DCDi Directional Correlation Deinterlacing? Keystone Correction? Or retrofit Lamp based DLP projector? 2000 Lumen after filter losses= 30W LED approx. I suggest choose 100W LED and de-rate. Cost ~$70. Consider requirements for CRI and Color Temp. You may want 4000K~ 5000K CRI > 85
APERTURE EFFICIENCY, 0 The Antenna Efficiency, 0, is a factor which includes all reductions from the maximum gain. 0 can be expressed as a percentage, or in dB. Several types of "loss" must be accounted for in the efficiency, 0: (1) illumination efficiency which is the ratio of the directivity of the antenna to the directivity of a uniformly il

If you are using a single antenna, a very low gain one is needed. If that is not good enough maybe a big aperture horn with some sort of plastic lens at the end to correct for the illumination falling off from boresight.
1) Could you suggest any good books on optics for lithography? All these aspherical lenses, phase correctness, quadruple illumination, high-NA optics, immersion optics - that kind of things... Do not know any good books that cover this subject for IC Fabrication but there are plenty of IEEE (etc) papers if you can get hold of them. 2) In producti
Up to 300mA per camera if you are using the IR illumination. A power supply with a higher current rating will be fine - the camera will just take what it needs. Just make sure it is 12V DC not AC. Keith
Another reason for using IR all the time is so you can do frame subtraction - subtract one frame without the illumination from one with the illumination. It will remove a lot of spurious data. Keith
The datasheets are specifying a resistance range for a specific illumination, mostly 10 lux. The variation is typically +/- 50%. Furthermore they specify a logarithmitic slope factor γ, so you are able to calculate the resistance at different luminance levels. You won't get more accurate data, because the nature of these sensors apparently doe
LED pixel usually consist of four LED's, blue, green, two reds. Matching the LED intensity and current profile vs. illumination output is quite complicated. Screen make generally grade LED out for close matching of illumination output vs. current. The power to drive your suit is going to be quite high. You will also likely overhead in the sui

Hi Guys, I'm simulating Electric field on a bow tie antenna. I'm using a linearly polarized plane wave illumination and my aim is to observe the z-component of the E-field beneath the antenna. When i put a field probe to observe the resonances i see the first two resonance at 215 and 570 ghz. However when i look at the field at 570, it does not
Uniform illumination of the board. The glass used must be transparent to UV! (Some glass will block UV) A timer for repeatable results. The board must be held flat against the glass. You could include something to help with the registration of the board and artwork.
Hi, A Reflective display relies on the room light refelecting off the display to produce viewable digits. A Transreflective does the same, but when the room light becomes too dim to give a usable display the backlight comes into play and produces enough illumination to give a good display. Niether has any affect on the programming of the g
I am trying to understand the purpose of half height waveguide. If the impedance and cutoff of a guide is based on the width and not the height, what is it used for? I have noticed that certain feeds, cutler, for one use this. I am thinking it is for illumination of a splash plate. Is this correct?
Hi, I'm repeating my answer here. You may not have seen it in your other topic. It's not an easy topic. It's easy to write a program that can recognize frontal upright faces with moderate accuracy (%70 or so) but in your case you need an algorithm that can recognize faces regardless of the pose and illumination. There is no perfect soluti
Hi, Its not an easy topic. It's easy to write a program that can recognize frontal upright faces with moderate accuracy (%70 or so) but in your case you need an algorithm that can recognize faces regardless of the pose and illumination. There is no perfect solution to this problem yet. You can start studying from [url=www.face-rec.
Try to find the optimum dimensions and distances to minimize the illumination loss. Any shape change of the dipole will affect the initial gain of the antenna. You can adjust the length of the dipole to get different radiation patterns, but at the expense of some side lobes (see the picture). Worth to t
I am working to implement a human tracking system for multiple cameras with non-overlapping field of views. I propose to use multiple webcams for real-time acquisition and processing of the video; tracking the persons maintaining their unique identities; also making the system less effected by illumination, calibration, etc. Which software sh

hello and happy 2009. thanks to revolution in electronics and LED use. i would like to be supplied with the bright high illumination LEDs currently used in torches. any viable supplier can send catalogue (with up to date prices per unit package). i won't mind additional information.
hi there i m working on ral time image proc but now i try to process the video, i get the video from camera but dificult to take an image from video and differentiate the diffrent object in this image, and also handle the illumination problem plz help me out thanking you in advance
Hi everyone. I have a question. Given a limited board space, and a fix illumination target. Which type of Lamp of LED would produces the brightest effect. I am thinking the 3mm LED is smaller and can fit in more LED within the same board space. With more die on the PCB board, I guess the sum of light energy would be greater then a 5mm LE
Part of the variability is the feed horn illumination loss. The ideal feed would have the same gain out to the edge of the dish and zero at larger angles. Another source of error is the dish shape not being exactly right. This wastes some gain as sidelobes.
