I powered it from 1st MCLR pin, put 8mhz oscillator with capacitors into 13th and 14th pin, connected led to 19th pin and led is not blinking. ??? MCLR/VPP is not the power pin. Must supply VDD pins 11 and 32. Please show your complete circuit. To simplify the test setup, you can run the PIC from internal oscillator. One
Hi folks. Recently I bought OLIMEX pic18f4550 (link: ). I am trying to interface it with PICkit by microchip. When I am trying to setup my IPE tu=o just test blinking led code under Tools I cannot find any option to select (Screenshot attached) 13652
Tried so many code but fail to interface.... OR please correct attached file Your main.c code has nothing there, just a blinking led on while(1) loop. In addition, there isn't a single evidence of an attempt to interface with this JHD240128.
I actually figured it out while I was typing this. I had the "lo" led wired wrong. Yes. It could be seen much better with a sketched schematic. Still, curious why the potentiometer isn't adjusting the speed of the blinking. Because it's not wired as variable resistor. You have the potentiometer wiper unconnected.
Hi. Cannot 'read between lines'... The data sheet for IC PCA9901 shows on page one : "The PCA9901 is a 20 mA current source for a single led that allows stand-alone blinking of a predefined pattern to off-load the microcontroller and save battery power. Programming of the device is done through a training sequence: the host controller sends
Try to see whether you can put 2 or 3 led's in series. Each string needs a resistor (several hundred ohms). Thus if your strings are 2 led's each then you'll need 75 resistors (maybe 400 or 500 or 600 ohms). If 3 led's each then you'll need 50 resistors (maybe 200 or 300 or 400 ohms). Brightness depends on how well the mosfet conducts, (...)
h tried to compile a simple project using eclipse and I have this error: Description Resource Path Location Type make: *** Error 1 led blinking C/C++ Problem how can i solve it??
From personal experience, I can tell you that if you accidentally use a DC adapter that outputs a higher voltage than is specified, the power led will blink on a Xilinx Spartan development board. In my case, going back to the proper charger stopped the blinking. Unfortunately the overvoltage had damaged something else on the board and it was no l
Did you provide proper heatsink to these leds ? I mean, did you tied them to some bulky metalic plate, or left them hovering as shown in the picture ?
hello everyone..i have a problem on my project..with pic16f877 microcontroller. My project is a 2 button mode led blinking ..Hope someone could help me..the problem is when I press the 1st button it working such code. but when I press the 2nd button it's not working such the code. which I programming in 2nd condition....
Hello, I'm new here and i'm beginner in electronic circuits, I would like to ask if anyone can help me in this small circuit. I would like to do blinking led (fade in and blink out). I saw some videos on youtube and i found one perfect: I bought components which he used (1x 1k variable resistor
I have a very basic question but i hold it very important in my understanding of the FPGA and the tools.. In ISE, once I generated bit stream for an example led blinking program, i could download on the board and could see the led blinking on the respective pins.. However, in Vivado, once I generate bitstream and then go (...)
My arduino Nano is not working. Pin 13 led is blinking with the normal sketch but same program (with other Digital pin) is not giving any results. resistor, led gnd are all in place. This is giving me headaches.
Now, the led can stay still for each word but I would like it to blink and it has to use multiplexer(in 74 series) for blinking. I have found 74153 use for blinking but I can't connect it to my system on Proteus. So, if you know how it work Please help Proteus was included. and photos represent how it blink but i cannot do.
I see that you are new to programming. First, scan all the switches and save their status in some variables. Next set the leds, one by one, into stop or blinking mode. Loop the whole cycle. Even if you are writing for one switch and one led, keep the scope for future expansion and add comments profusely
I have to make a very simple program for led blinking . Using buttons 1 and 6 lead me.When the button is pressed for a small time , then led 1 should be blinking. This code is part 2 of the led blink. part 1- Lead 5 & 6 part 2- led 1,2,3 & 4 blinking with batton scan As long (...)
Hi, I am testing a simple program of blinking two leds with 8051 uC, one led will blink all the time and another will toggle during an interrupt. I am using proteus simulator and keil v5. Debugging step by step of the code in keil shows it ok while running the code is not giving satisfactory output with interrupt led. (...)
Hi all, I am trying to write a code for PIC so that it can carry out different function depends on setting mode. Default mode: both led blinking Mode 1 : led 1 is blinking Mode 2 : led 2 is blinking But my code doesnt work as what i thought. I am using IF statement my code is as (...)
Hi, I am learning RTOS by myself taking ucos-ii and MSP432 evaluation board as a reference. In the reference code, which I download from its website, I find difficulty in creating two tasks(led blinking) that have different priorities. In reference code, BSP_Tick_Init() function called in the call back function so after creating another (...)
Hi. I found at my workplace an evaluation board based on GSM module SIM508 EVB V1.01, manufactured by SimCom What seems to be the problem: I have inserted a valid SIM card; soon after I activate GSM (by pressing Z1 button ) the GSM_NET led start blinking and then stops after 10-15 seconds. During this seconds ,I receive string "Call Ready
Hi, I am making use of the MODEL FS CT6B tansmitter and receiver, which is used to transmit the data wirelessly. First of all I want to test that one For that purpose I am making use of servo motor to switch between the channels First of all I want to test by blinking led by switching between the channels using arduino software . my Samsung 32 inch 3D smart TV suddenly not starting up.The screen lights up fully with smart TV logo and goes off in half second. Again full same picture and in half second the picture goes off. the leds alternatively light on and go off.I thought the problem was with mother board . any one help with schematic of this TV(the model number UA32F6400
Hey I compiled simple BLINK led by USB example. The example works well on my every day workstation PC. But when I plug it to the laptop, it says "unknown device" (error code 43). What's wrong, am I forgetting some kind of drivers? I am using example HID Read Write Interrupt (EasyPIC v7 for PIC18F4550). The board c
Hello,I am trying to use the timer 1 in Timer mode for timing a determined time for blinking a led ,but I am not coming out with this,could anyone help me to sort this out? I am uisng MicroC the the code below I was trying to use: //#include <16f877a.h> int count=0; void main(void) { T1CON=0x01; TRISC.F7=0X00; TRISD.F1=0X00;
Were you ESD safe? Why are leds shown backwards? Each output is 25 Ohm nominal ESR so if shorted to gnd or supply and active in opposite state , current limit from 3V is 120 mA !! I calculate ESR as follows. ( actually internal RdsOn) ESR = Vol/Iol and (Vcc-Voh)/Ioh - - - Updated - - - Many kits run fr
Reviewing the original question, I'm guessing that he wants just to draw the circuit and layout of a flash-led, being the Pentium4 the PC platform where will run a CAD tool. Seriously speaking, he needs to elaborate more the need. I have an Intel Pentium 4 and i want to design minimum circuit that is require for r
I'm start to learn 8051 by designing a blinking led circuit. One of my effect seems to have problem, I think it is because of my code because other effects worked. Please help me check if there is something missing Effect2: mov r1,#5 start2: mov a,#0FFh port0: rlc a lcall sdelay mov P0,a cjne a,#0
Desired function is, when button is pressed, only one led is blinking, when released, two leds should blinking. Assuming that you fixed the error that Brian pointed out, and you connected the leds to pins 0 and 1 of PortB, the code above works exactly as you described.
The blinking led fault code is your clue, most likely one of the SMPS. IF it detects over-current in the CCFL backlights, then the SMPS for those may be one possibility. Does the display color look off-white in the corners? If this all points towards expired CCFL tubes, I know TV parts stores and also DigiKey stock a wide range.
Please provide a sample IAR AVR C Code for led blinking using Timer1 interrupt. I am new to IAR AVR Compiler. I have done led blinking project using delays and it works fine. I need code with Timer interrupts for ATMega32.
Zip and post the complete MPLAB project files for testing. WDT enabled ? CONFIG bits set in IDE ? MCLR enabled in IDE ? If yes, you have 10k pullup on MCLR pin ?
I noticed that the Watchdog Timer is enabled in your code. Shouldn't that be disabled?
Hi all, I am trying to load my Altera Arria - II FPGA with the .sof file generated. The loading is successful but the FPGA leds do not turn ON/blink. When I program the FPGA with an old .sof file it works. My question is can u tell me as to why does this happen?? Before programming the .sof file, I opened the .qpf project file, compiled it an
Minimum PWM frequency with 20 MHz crystal is 1.2 kHz, so you'll hardly see the led blinking.
I am trying to implement a led blinking program using EDK.I have selected GPIO leds(datawidth 8) and updated UCF files.When i try to launch it on hardware ,the error "MicroBlaze is under reset.Check if the reset input to MicroBlaze and its Bus interfaces are connected prpoerly" appears.I am using Genesys Virtex-5 board and for reset input i (...)
That is led blinking. You want to control the power to Ultrasonic sensor module or what to send trigger pulse ? If you want to control the power to module then you have to use a relay, transistor or mosfer controlled by MCU.
Hi I downloaded MikroC 6.4.0 and i try my first program: blinking led. I have one led on RB7. No Qtal just internal osc. This is my code void main() { PORTB=0; TRISB=0; CMCON = 0x07; // Disable comparators ADCON1 = 0x0F; // Disable Analog functions while(1){ PORTB = ~PORTB; Delay_ms(1000); } }
How good are you with Verilog? Have you tested any simple code like led blinking or 7 segment display? Altera website has many example code which you can take a look at. All the best! :)
hello, Be carrefull with some device HC05 comming from RPC.. Some have very erratic initialisation... at power on, the led must blinking to be able to associed it to an android BT and then successfully establish a dialogue. Even when using pin KEY .. So must use many Power off /power ON to get led blinking. After (...)
Dear All Plz guied me I need a simple program for led1 to led8. task_1 when S1 unpressed ; {led=11111110;} (HOLD IT for 2sec) {led=11111101;} (HOLD IT for 2sec) {led=11111011;} (HOLD IT for 2sec) {led=11110111;} (HOLD IT for 2sec) {led=11101111;} (HOLD IT for 2sec) (...)
No difference. Both are difficult. Also, both of them including samples like a led blinking.
// led blinking c code //start //turn ON led // wait for some time (delay ) // turn OFF led include // header file for 8051 include // header file for delay #define led_ON 00000001 // led ON #define led_off 00000000 // (...)
You are also not using the #defines you added. You don't have to to use them but if you don't you can remove both the lines. The problem Easyrider83 pointed out is that without the extra delay you turn the led off then immediately on again as the loop repeats. It will be so fast that you won't be able to see the led turn off and it will appear to
Hello, I try to complie (using atmel studio 6 ) example C code for led blinking: #define F_CPU 1000000UL #include #include int main (void) { DDRB |= _BV(DDB0); while(1) { PORTB ^= _BV(PB0); _delay_ms(500); } } I get atmel studio error: Error 1 'DDB0' undeclared (first use
this is sample coding if(Count < ON_Limit) { Count++; P1.3 = ~P1.3; OFF_Count = 0; } else if(OFF_Count <5) { OFF_Count++; P1.3 = 1; } else { ON_Limit = ON_Limit + 2; P1.3 = 0; if(ON_Limit >6) ON_Limit = 1; Count = 1; OFF_Count = 0; }output 1sec led on 5sec led off 2sec
If you have any form of feedback, you could make a double push. Ok=short push, as wp100 said above. Push and hold get a feedback, blinking a disply or led, and then release and push again to exit, inside a time limit. It all depends on what you prefer. The exit fiunction could also be automatic after a time when no keys are pressed. How do you
you want to have leds blinking ? at which frequency ?
As allready said in previous post, if you add PEIE et GIE bit, your code (interrupt) is working Init_Timer2() ; PEIE_bit=1; GIE_bit=1; but if your FOSC or Quartz value.. is too high you can't see blinking of the led... blinking detection ok at 10Mhz ,even not very evident At 20Mhz not sure.. at 4MHz must be evident.
Hi I am aashish, I am a pure beginner to 8051 microcontrollers and want to Blink a led connected to port 1 with it (as my first test). It is my habit to start any thing from groundup....... I performed the following steps, 1. Generate Hex file from keil uVision 2. Flash the AT89S52 with this hex file using a 8051 programmer. 3. Connect a L
hello, Is the led blinking on your HC05 ? if not, no chance to have AT command... I know that it is very difficult to put HC05 or HC06 bluetooth device in AT mode when Power ON.. sometimes they are stuck.. Even using KEY input .. or the (not direct accessible) Reset input. Try before AT commands with a TERMINAL <- RS232 level converte
