Hi, Have you looked at W. Sansens "Analog Design Essentials"? - Even I can understand CMOS design with this book... Chapter one has some of the formulas for W/L, gM and so on. If that's like a two stage bjt op amp, with no output stage, wouldn't the Vouts end their useful lives at about 600 - 700mV and then hit VDD?

With ideal identical devices in your simulation the CMRR for the difference signal will be essentially infinite, as you measured. Note that your circuit is not a true differential stage since it does not have a common impedance in the emitter connections. You just have two single-ended stages being feed the same signal.

But I think the emitter area of the bjt at the output stage is A and not 12 A. I think the output stage can be A or 12A. But you must change the two resistor ratio to match it.
