Hi all! I need the value of h(t) (impulse response) in an ideal comunications channel Its h(t) = delta(t)? I would really appreciate a response Thanks a lot!
I have a formula about covariance matrix of channel like: Ch = diag{ E E .... E[abs(h(Δ)? } Δ in here mean number of channel impulse response, And I want ask to all of you about change this formula into matlab ,can anybody explain this, coz Iam very confuse about the sign E in my formula, Thanks a lot:) pleas

Hi folks, I am trying to implement alamouti receiver, r1 = h1 x1 + h2 x2 + n1 r2 = -h1 x2* + h 2x1* + n2 My channel is AWGN....what would be the coefficients h1 and h2 for the AWGN channel? In general I am asking for the channel impulse response of AWGN. Max
They are the discrete-time impulse response of the channel. Ideally, one transmitted symbol gives an output only in one symbol time without interfering other symbols, i.e. the response is ...0 0 0 1 0 0 0 ... In you example, the symbol spreads over several time slices at the receiver with amplitudes 0.7, 0.8, .... regards Z
Alsalam alikom h r u everybody?? i hope u r all fine well i have a certain problem concerning channel interpolation, well i use pilots to estimate the channel frequency response then use the results to interpolate them but the interpolated figure is far away from the real one (which is plotted in red) please check out this figure (...)
The impulse response of the channel is transformed in the frequency domain as summation of complex exponentials in the frequency domain, the magnitude spectrum has spectral peaks that are quasi-constant over a minimum band that is the inverse of the maximum delay (delay spread), the same for the phase spectrum where it is linear only in such (...)
Hi, I have a code for a wireless channel and it gives the continuous time impulse response h(t). But what i want is channel gain, square of H(f). How to get it? Thanks guys!:-P
SFN is modelled by increasing the delay spread. The channel model example can be: channel gains im dB a single impulse response is replicated with an offset amplitude loss and offset delay. channel delays can be: . This means that the interfering signal coming
If a channel response is shown in which zeros are -.4-.4i and -.4+.4i and poles are .4+.4i and .4-.4i How can i find the INVERSE response of a channel in matlab (I WROTE BY MISTAKE impulse IN HEADING)
You can obtain CIR (channel impulse response) by accessing rayleighchan output class member. This code extracts CIR from rayleighchan output: % Call rayleigh channel constFading = rayleighchan(1/Fs,fd,tau,P); if (fd>0) constFading.StoreHistory = 1; end outFading = (...)
hello anta, I am also working on this, can u help me clear some doubts. 1. the o/p Y =conv(h, x) in that case to decide the lenght of the cyclic prefix u need to know the length of the channel i.e no. of samples in the impulse response of the channel. I mean if length(x)=M length(h)=L, then Length(y)=M+L-1. and so (...)
@ cplusruss i am also new to filter designing.. i had been trying to approximate the arbitrary channel impulse response of the wireless channel. I didnt have any luck on creating the inverse filter...
Hi all... I am simulating ofdm with matlab I used rayleighchan to generate rayleigh fading channel is there any way to see the impulse response from this channel with script in M-file? In matlab r2009 help, there is a section that can visualize this channel but it's too complex, too many options. All (...)
can channel impulse response (CIR) of the wireless channel is to be approximated.??? do u suggest any IIR filter design techniques which could be used to approximate the time reverse of the CIR with a good stability?? Say, the channel impulse response was 4000 samples. (...)
Hi , I need to model a channel c(t) = δ(t) - 0.5δ(t-T/3) Its clearly a multipath channel but I cant figure out the T/3 part. Could someone hint me on how to start the code? Say there are 500 symbols to be transmitted over it using DQPSK. Thanks in advance.
Hello, Im AWGN channel, matched filter is used to maximize the SNR, where the impulse response of the filter is a scaled- time-reversed- and delayed version of the pulse signal. But if we know the transmitted pulse signal, there is no need for demodulation, right? Then, how is matched filter implemented practically? Regards
Hi can any one say me what is channel impulse response is .... how can I write code in MATLAB ..? thanks
hey guys. I have a LMS VS RLS of smart antenna matlab code. Unfortuneatly, It doesn't work. Is there any help? T.T plz..... LMS xLen = 2000; %sequence length hLen = 10; %filter length sigma_w2=0.0; %AWGN power D=0; delta=0.06; c = ; %channel impulse response x = rand(sqrt(2), xLen+200, 1); %x=real(x); d = [zeros(D,1); x
