Hello,in the cst manual which is presented bellow, they dont go to the specifics of the meaning of "combining results",i khow that there should be a phase shift of 90 degreen between the components in order to see if its right hand or left hand polarization. but what should i do specificly in cst to determine this? Or if i Plot in Ludwig-3 co
Hello,i would like to have the two orthoghonal modes TE10 TE01 and shift them 90 degrees to create circular polarization in the cst menu i can only choose the number of modes but i cant know which modes specificly will be generated.I can choose the polarization angle so by choosing two ports and 90 degree polarization i will only get two ortho
I use cst studio Thanks
If you really want to learn about the micro-strip patch antenna then pick any IEEE paper and try to learn how to design the same on cst or HFSS. I suggest this is the best way to gain knowledge. There are number of post, blogs and videos available online on how to design microstrip antenna.
Hi every one, I am simulating a horn antenna with a wave port with two orthogonal modes (to get circular polarization), the combine option in Post processing tab is not available for me. it gives me this warning:At least one propagating mode is not considered at port 1. Can anyone help me please? Thank you very much
There are tutorials out there on how to do this: just google it buddy:
I excite a fiber by circular waveguide with vertical S11 is vary good and I can monitor E-field along the fiber in arbitrary face in time interval.but this field in curve line per time is null. I need your help sincerely.
Hello all, I have been using cst for the past few days to design a PIFA antenna with circular patches, circular substrate I am doing stacking, by : ground plane -substrate 1- lower patch- substrate 2- upper patch- superstrate. However, I face this issue (see attached). I seriously, don't know which option to choose from and which is the (...)
I have a question about circular polarization analysis in cst MWS. I would like to simulate a structure in optical regime which converts from linear to circular polarization light. In some papers the authors evaluate the conversion (from linear to circular) efficiency by cst MWS. Do you think they use (...)
Dear All: I am trying to simulate a circular polarization input to a metamaterial-system. The metamaterials structure contains non-uniformly distributed unit-cells, so I have draw the complete structure (not a unit-cell) and used "open" boundary conditions. I hope the circular polarized beam incident normally to the system and transmit through
High axial ratio means linear polarization, low axial ratio means circular, but you can not tell which one is it (horizontal or vertical, RHCP or LHCP). HFSS can plot all these automatically, most probably also cst, just find it out.
hi; would anyone help me how I can define the radios of circular or the diameter of other types of bend coplanar wave guide port in cst. please help me as soon as possible I really need it
Hii, I am doing my final yr grad, for my proj, m required to design a circular patch in cst, m totally new to this software, from online info, i have designed a cicular patch at 10.45GHz, substrate - FR4(lossy) material substrate height - 1mm radius of the patch- 3.56mm ground nd patch height - 0.1 each, PEC material, probe radius- 2mm f
circular patch can be drawn by circular cylinder. How about semicircular patch?
Dear Members: I have designed a 1x4 element antenna array in cst and now would like to study its beam forming on specific angles. The question is how can I calculate the relevant amplitudes and phases to achieve the maximum directivity of the array?? Anyone knows how to calculate amplitudes and phases and then implement them in cst??? Awaiti
So far - we appear to have struck out on this one. Whether it be HFSS, or cst, or any other, if there is a general approach on how to get a circular polarized wave going inside a waveguide (vacuum) cut out of a universe of PEC conductor, using ports..whatever, it would be nice to discover.
How to draw a linear helix with no change in radius in cst 2006. In cst 06 coils construction, linear circular helix option is not there.
Hi there, For an FSS unit cell designed in cst MWS, X-pol. and Y-pol. E-field probes can be used to check the cell's X-.pol and Y-pol. response. Now, if I want to check whether the designed FSS unit cell is producing any circular polarized response, how can I check that? Thanks in advance for your reply!
Hi, I have to optimize with cst studio suite a system of magnetically coupled resonators for wireless power transfer, so that the efficiency is maximum (therefore wireless power transfer between transmitter and receiver antenna is maximum). Each antenna is made of a number of circular loop (concentric), with a certain step. I have realized the an
hiii i have designed a microstrip patch antenna in cst MWS. Please tell me how to figure out that it is circularly polarized.
