I want to get an EMI filter for my half bridge converter. The input voltage of my circuit(AC line supply voltage) is 220V 50HZ and the frequency of current coming from AC supply(load current) is 500KHZ,the cut-off frequencies(common mode and diffrential mode) calculation of an EMI filter is explained in the attached document.I want to know these fre
hey guys, the aim is to IQ demodulate the signals from a balanced coil. The AD8333 seems suitable for the intended purpose but the datasheet (page 25) suggests that the RF inputs of the chip be driven by fully differential outputs from a Low noise amplifier. Now I am a bit confused about terminology here, attached figure will help the question.
Hi all I need to use differential input and output type balun but rflib only has with single and differential. Please let me know how to get differential input and output type balun with centre tap or may be how can I make using two baluns of single ended? Varun
HI every body I have Big problem. I Have an OTA with 20pF Capacitor on output. my ota is used in a gm-C filter. input of ota is differential ( applied into Bulk . (bulk Driven Technique)) and has a single output. how can i plot gm/vid (in HSPICE) to see linearity of ota. i have read much solutions about it , in this site. i did approximately
I have fundamental doubt on differential equations. Let us say that we want to solve dy/dx+2y=0 then by traditional method we get the solution e power (-2x). Now the question is two fold, which come first, the solution or the differential equation. I mean that in practice we would take measurements and plot a graph and that would represent a functi
I am trying to buffer a signal on a capacitor using lt6202 using differential configuration. All resistors are fixed 100kohm in the differential configuration. The signal at the input is a clear signal oscillating between 1.5 to 3.5V @ 230kHz. The signal can be seen at the output but it is not stable. It is driving a 47k load with parallel to 1k an
I hv replaced gain setting resistors with 320K and now output varies from 12mV to 1.96V at the output of diffrential amplifier. Yes that's expectable, because the high sink current with 1k resistor increases the minimal output voltage considerably. On the other hand, 320K resistor increase the offset voltage caused by the amplifier

Is the accelerometer going to be separated from the processing circutry? Conversion to diffrential could make sense then, but the conversion would have to be done next to the accelerometer. There are a couple of circuits here for doing single ended to differential conversion if you decide it is worthwhile (page 10
Dear friends my professor has asked this project fully diffrential CMOS opamp design, as a school project for one of my courses, and as i am not the student of I.C design p, i dont know, what should i do. and this is really vital for me, i will be really grateful if you help me, i am sure you know. we are supposed to design in Hspice. with 0.35
how i can match my diffrential power amplifier with a 50Ω output load?
The first figure show the transient of the opamp. I don't konw that what is the problem for the output , when i don't add the syntax "accurate" to .options. dear all, It is the first time I post here. I used mtline for t-line in spectre. I obtain s-parameter from hfss and then convert to RLGC and used with mtline for one line case, it is good. But when I tried to do the same thing for a diffrential line, I convert the 4-port s-paramter from hfss into mixed-mode s-parameter, and then convert them
Can any one say why a diffrential amplifier is preffered inside an Operational Amplifier?Does it have any special advantage? Yes, it has. It has two inputs - one inverting and one non-inverting (if compared with the output phase). And that is important for a device which can be used as a universal amplifier in several fu

hi all! i use XF function in spectre to measure the PSRR of a fully differential amplifier. But for positive and negative output node, is it just put diffrential signal like out1 and out2? or choose either out1 or out2 for positive output node and gnd for negative output node?
I have designed a folded cascode fully diffrential OTA, and the SC-CMFB works well. But when I use Hspice to do AC analysis, the open loop gain is so small In the waveform,we can found that the Av(0) equal to -20db. Someone told me that Hspice is not suitable for this kind of circuit, and they usually do it by spectreRF . I th

Usually in electronics books, the mathematics is not given, like the equations describing the flow of electrons in semiconductors, Is there an electronics book that teaches like that.
feedback signal makes the real input to the diffrential pair really small (in uV ) That's right. You need to consider the negative feedback.
hi,everyone when i'm dealing with the simulation of a fully differential opamp in spectre,a puzzle baffle me.The schemetic and result is as follows. Common mode voltage selected by me equals 900mV,i use sc common mode feedback and telescope opamp for simplicity.i use this closed feedback(T&H) to achieve doubling the input voltage accurately.the
i am no CP expert but i think: 1- in fully diffrential CP both the UP and the Down current consist of current from PMOS and NMOS which cause the matching , i guess using CMFB wont increase matching cause whatever the value of the CM both the UP and the Down will see the same value. i think the thing the increase the matching and lower the dynamic

diffrential signal is compsoed of two signals out of phase these are called diffrential , these diffrential are imposed on a DC for biasing the MOS or whatever , this dc is called common mode V1=Vd+Vcm>>>> V2=-Vd+Vcm Vi/p diff.= V1-V2= 2Vd Vi/p cm= (V1+V2)/2= Vcm about the usage the signal itself is diffrentail which has many adv. over (...)
hi answer of your first question is No VCO must be connected to LO port. you must convert diffrential to single ended by "balun" .
the balun model in spectre (verilog-a) has an unbalanced input impedance of 50 Ohm and a balanced/differential output impedance of 50 Ohm. these impedance values can be varied. to my knowledge, if the diffrential output impedance is 50 Ohm, each output has an impedance of 25 Ohm. however, if i terminate each differential output with 50 Ohm, the bal

I think I have tri
hi... usually all amplifiers have the input vs output reltaion as below y= a1*x + a2*x^2 + a3*x^3 + ..... (1) where y is ofcourse o/p and x is i/p. "Usually" a2 is quite small....and a4, a5, a6,....are also quite small. example: for diffrential amplfiers a2=0 also a3 is can plot the o/p vs i/p transfer curve for
