Hi tyassin, The even-odd mode analysis is still applicable. There is a couple of reflected waves from Term2 and Term3 (the latter is null in the case of the figure). This couple of waves can be analyzed in its even and odd modes. Regards Z

When you assign a waveport which includes two or more conductors, you can pair them for even-odd mode excitation. I would recommend you to get some examples and slides from Ansoft homepage and try them first.

The easiest way (not an exact solution) to place capacitors between adjacent inputs (two pairs). In the simplest way they are not there for the even mode and they compensate a little in odd mode. g579
