I am working on butterworth iir filter & I have to implement it in ARM assembly. This filter have some fractional coefficients. Can anybody explain me how to convert this fractional coefficients in hex so that I can use it in assembly without changing the response of filter?

The filter equation , written by you, is a causal iir filter. Only the required specifications in designing a filter , can drive you either to causal/non causal filer equations.
for iir filters matlab would export a filter "object", which is simply a struct with multiple fields, two of which are numerator and denom.
first you can use fdatool for matlab then mention the type of filter you would like to design FIR or iir ? see the signal processing toolbox in matlab

U need to be more specific on wat tpe of filter bank u need like iir or FIR attenuation required etc...
if u r interested only in extracting a particular band of frequencies have a look at lyons cochlear model. its a iir filter bank with just 2 nd order filters. u can google for Malcolm sanley or lyons cochlear model.
