Looking at the czl601 data sheet it provides 2 V output at 100% of its rated load. What do you want your micro proc to do with it? Frank
hi to all, i having a small doubt, i need to measure a weight of one given platform, measurable weight is around (200kg - 300kg), which area is around 3m*3m size platform? can i go with single load cell or need to use more than 1? could anybody suggest?

Hi all, I am going to Interface 4 wire load cell to PIC 16F877A microcontroller. range of load cell is 0-3kg,I do no have the voltage sensitivity of the loadcell, planning to use 5V excitation voltage, as same source for microcontroller. planning to measure 0-100g with 1g accuracy. (...)

i am interfacing a load cell 2mV/V output to ad7796.i am able to communicate with chip .but i am not getting linear result . the load cell is mounted under a platform which has its own weight say x. how to calculate result when i am able to achieve 13 bit accuracy for adc. load (...)
You can use just about any AD, since this is a pretty slow system. You'll need a bridge amplifier for the load cell, though.
i need any information on load cells , also how to interface with it using A/D converter and read it's data

Hi jenda, You can try the ad7730 from Analog Devices (AD7730 - CMOS, 24-Bit Sigma-Delta, Bridge Transducer ADC for load cell Applications). It works fine with piezoresistive sensor and it is very easy to use. You have already the ADC inside the chip : Have a good electronic design !
