All the ROHM PIN diodes have attached also spice models. You can use any of them in mwo. To import the spice model in mwo (and update the XML library) is not an easy job, but you can do a quick trick to modify one of the existing mwo spice diode model (any of them
Hello, Is it Crystal Resonator Ocillator ! if so did you setup exact crystal parameters... then finally did you use the nonlinear spice model for BFS520 in mwo schenatic... Also increase the oscillation frequency range on OSCPROBE just to indentify the resosnace frequency... ---manju---
Hello, is this Nonlinear device model is spice model? then you can in AWR mwo as netlist Project->Add netlist->Import netlist->Import file as Pspice or Hspice... If not upload ur file here so that we can help you... ---manju---
.prm files are supported by mwo. In fact they are spice files. You have to import the files which will change the lib.xml Component Data file. Go to Help of the program for more details.
Hello, Import it to mwo as a Netlist => spice netlist (*.cir, *.ckt, *.lib, *.sp) & then use in the schematic... If you wnat S-parameter file then setup the linear simulation if it is a Diode or FET, BJT then setup the bias & simulate... Finally export the file as Output file in Touchstone S-parameter file format... If you have difficult
Hello buenos, I think your problem can be solved if you use EM Simulator with Circuit simulators... One such solution is use AWR mwo with CST MWS or Sonnet or Vector Fields Concerto...i.e create the Microstrip trace/structure in EM simulator the use it as a subcircuit with different terminations in mwo... Or Extract the spice model (...)
Hello Advark, You need to save this spice file as Pspice model (*.cir)... Then Import it as a Netlist & Add as Subcircuit block.... Then setup the analysis & simulate the design... I have attached all the steps as Picture files (*.jpg) & corresponding Pspice file, AWR Microwave Office (mwo) file for you... (...)
u need to contact the manufactures about NXP they have released a design kit for mwo if u can get it , then u can use mwo khouly
Hi I want to design LNA with ATF36077 but I have a problem to add ATF36077 element to mwo library. Best
Hi nauwaf, Use spice Statz FET Model: SSTATZ model available in nonlinear models section & then enter the parameters provided in Agilent data sheet... I have included the corresponding mwo project file(ATF36FET.rar) ---manju---
Hello I'm working on PA and have problem with bipolar transistor modeling . Does anybody have experiance modeling spice model in Microwave Office? I have uploaded equivalent circuit of transistor and my mwo file ( mwo 2006 v7.05 If you need, I can upload this version of mwo). I think a problem with correct connection (...)
Hello Jesterhsu, It is very easy to even get the accurate Nonlinear Model in Microwave Office of the mentioned device... Go to mwo Elements -> Nonlinear -> BJT -> choose GBJT device & then enter the spice parameters provided in the Device Datasheet Page No. 9... Then Bias the model using your bias conditions (IC = 25 mA; VCE = 2 V.)then i
i have a mosfet 0.13 um for hspice , and i want to use it in mwo is there any examples or hints to do so thanks in advance khouly
