every one from field of electromagnetics knows that their exist to FIELDS near field... and 2 far field but when comes to our result we always consider far field and pattern is always used why why not near field I CAME TO KNOW THAT near FIELD IS SOME WHAT COMPLEX i mean to say that it comtains some (...)
Hi, kishorekumar_ms: It tells you that your domain is not large enough to enclose the structure. In order to do pattern calculation, a pattern box is defined internally for the near field to far field transformation. If not all of your dielectrics or metal is enclosed by the box, the results will be invalid. FIDELITY detects it automatically. Fo
the linear model if build for lock or near lock state , to give a simple formulas , abut how the PLL will act , but sure for the unlock or far from lock u need to model the PLL not in S domain , this also will show how the PLL will act , in the beginning of acquisition phase khouly
dear all plz, help me to find a code to find near to far field in time domain
It is true that if a bubble occurs near the top thermometer code, gray output remains fairly close to the top of thermometer code. But if a bubble occurs far from the top, ex at the eight's bit, the gray code will be 0011, quite away from 1011. So how does gray correct such bubble? thermometer code gray code equivale
Hello, I am wondering if anyone can help me. I need a tutorial for HFSS software that will allow me to investigate shielding of different materials/shapes due to far and near field sources. I would like to look at different parameters (e field, hfield) etc. Please help. Thanks.
Hi! I'm new and I have a little experience with HFSS. I would like to simulate an array antenna (maybe using patch antennas or open ended waveguides) and to evaluate the near field across a plane in front of the array (about 10 waveleghts far from it). I have understood i need to solve only one element and then i have to set up the array defini
Usually in such cases, I get the fields after the feed point by a certain distance at which the radiation modes are already negligible, use the near to far transformation to obtain the field at large distances. Some near-to-far transformation schemes can include lossy or dispersive materials. However I do not think that any (...)
you can just add the near end signal and far end signal with appropriate delays and coefficients. There is nothing special
I have a cavity which is fed by a waveguide. In order to learn the modes available, I try to get the report as below inputs ang receive the following error message. >Create report >report type: Fields >display type:rectangular plot then i get the error: "Field, near filed, and far field reports can not be created without specifying an app
Can someone please help me I am trying to find out how t ocalculate the far fields of an "L" shaped antenna with ground plate near it. L shap antenna with ground plate underneath. I def need image theory behind this. Please some one know where I can get a worked out problem like this? thanks
Hello, does anyone got any idea about the effect of not enabling power control in GSM ( uplinlk or DL or both)..i thought about near far effect that near user will block signals of far users from BTS but someone told me that this won't be done due to presence of different carriers.. so anyone got any info about this topic (...)
Hi, Maybe the near far problem ?. Paul.
Hi all, After I finished simulating a planar array, I CAN plot S11 but I CANNOT plot the fields: After create-report for the near or far field, the plot shows that the field (or the gain, or Etotal, or anything else) is "nan", which I think means infinitely small number or something ?. This despite I've added the near and (...)
hi, the simplest door sensor is a couple of magnet and a sensor switch that is closed when the magnet is near to switch and open when it is far...attache the magent to your door and the switch on wall near to door, when the door open the switch is opened...its reliable, no connection between door and any circuit and also cheap. good luck
Hi, the farfield calculation in CST is easy and doesn't need an extra farfield probe. You just add the farfield monitor (solve -> field monitors -> farfield/RCS + frequency). You then will see the 3D farfield once the calculation is done. The bad thing is just that you will have to run the calculation again (...)
does anybody have references or book on near field boundaries? Otfen used is the rayleigh boundaries between the near field and far field (with 2D square/ lambda), but the EMC has a slighly diferent approach (with lambda/2 Pi) Thanks SunnySan Added after 13 minutes: I found a good paper from www.ednma
I met this problem in design RF module of a wideband(1G bandwidth) ka band systems. how does the near end and far end phase noise impact on the overall noise in the receiver?and how to evaluate it? Appreciate for any advice!
Hi, antenna_abc: The near field calculation on IE3D is based upon solving the PHI and A numerically. E and H are solved using finite differences on PHI and A. Also, the near field calculation on IE3D is not supposed to be used for the E and H fields at far distances. The calculation involves numerical calculation of Sommerfeld (...)
Common "odd" things are "dips" in passband of LPF or HPF when components'SRF are near or within the operating frequency or non-ideal rejection/stopband response response
