Scattering parameters once a TRL calibration is performed are referred to the Zc of the micro-strip line. Determining with measurement Zc (that is not an outcome of the calibration process) is a problem ( myabe a next question to ask about). However from the theory we know that Zc is in general complex. Let say nearly real, but with a small imag
I've designed microstrip and stripline filters at S-Band that have excellent performance. Because the propagation mode is nearly TEM, I expected performance to be even better at UHF. That's not what I'm observing. Both stripline and microstrip are showing extremely high losses compared to the theoretical models. This is true for FR4 and a variety o

Be careful when debugging the SSPBUF register as it is not a 'standard' SFR. What you read is what the SPI peripheral last received - and a second read may or may not return the same value (this behaviour is undefined for (nearly) all of the PIC chips of all families). It is almost certainly not what you would have written into the SSPBUF register
Hello, I lived a problem about waveguide simulation. In this waveguide there are 3 output ports. Radiation efficiency result is nearly -0.01 dB of first port. S11 result of this port is nearly -15 dB. But total efficiency result is nearly -6.5 dB, So realized farfield gain result is effect beacuse of total efficiency is bad. For (...)

I don't know how you would use this in a bandgap circuit, but a zener diode combines two effects: zener effect and avalanche effect. One has a positive temp coefficient, the other a negative temp coefficient. So according to Wikipedia: In a 5.6 V diode, the two effects occur together, and their temperature coefficients nearly cancel each ot
As I understand it, the principle is to get two coils oscillating at the same (or nearly the same) high frequency. The coils are air-core. A metal core would interfere with the ability to detect metal. Bring metal close to one coil, which should alter its oscillating frequency. This creates a beat (difference) frequency between the oscillators. Th
Your most crucial problem is that 100mV will not turn on any "regular VT" device, and any "native" (VT ~ 0) device will not turn off full (so very wasteful of input power). To run a decent boost backend you would need to ring up a supply nearly as large as what you hope to create, just for gate drive. That alone will probably consume all or most
Cypress USB interfaces are quite good if you want to utilize HS or SS USB nearly up to the limit. Firmware overhead is considerably larger than with simple FTDI parallel FIFO chips. If you want Superspeed with simple interface and configuration, the new FTDI FT600 series might be interesting.
None of the recent "chopper stabilized" or "zero drift" OPs is using a simple auto-zero topology with chopped signal path like that in Razavi's book. First integrated "commutating autozero" OP ICL760x did nearly 40 years ago, next generation ICL7650 (more than 30 years ago) changed to "chopper stabilized" topology with an uninterrupted main signal
When I connect the leds directly to 12V both draw nearly 3A, TPS16500 is a boost driver so i thought maybe input voltage was not enough so increased it to 15V but there is no change in the current What are the values you selected for each component of the above figure ? Note: This is TPS61500, not TPS16500.
Good day, I am using Winbond W77E532 currently, and it working perfectly. Anyway, now the production was obsoleted, therefore I can't find any replacement parts. My question is, what MCU shall I use to replace it? My concern is the Programming Area, which I use nearly all of the available memory (128kb). Another question is if I cannot f
Hi I have a design with 35k and i am starting with 60% utilization and 7 metal layers .I have huge congestion nearly 20 and 5 % in H and V respectively. When i am trying to increase height my utilization is very less.even though my congestion is very less.please help me to fix this issue.
Hi everybody, I'm looking for a solution for my controller which has its central unit and/or displays out of work. I'm going to upload a photo of this controller where you can see the "operational area" (at the end of which various wires must be connected). There, nearly 13V arrive (in a track where I drew a left pointing arrow in red), crossin
Any situation where you don't get nearly 5V level at the logic outputs of a 5V supplied processor can be expected as one of these cases: - wrong circuit - defective parts - wrong power supply - faulty measurement equipment - wrong PIC configuration (output pin not actually operated as output) You should fix the error instead of trying to in
Hi, Boards had been designed and already we have used atmega8535-8PI for nearly 3 years. It is in Production. so i need a Pin compatible with this IC without compromise in the function. Just programming the 40Pin dip ic using hex file and placing the new ic instead of this part atmega8535-8PI? anything available? Please let us know. Regards, V.
Can anyone please explain to me how can we know if the engineering equation is linear or non linear? Even a non-linear equation, when computed at a very small range could exhibit a nearly linear shape, regardless of not being represented by the model y=ax+b.There are many approaches that you could experi
We could say the LC series and LC tank are nearly the same arrangement. Both have greater current flow at their resonant frequency. The difference is where you tap for the oscilloscope probe. This simulation is a comparison. Notice where the scope traces tap the signal. The rolloff curves are nearly identical. Is this what you were aiming for? [A
Hi all What took so long that first NMOS device was fabricated after nearly a decade of PMOS fabrication? Since it just need to reverse the source and substrate region.
