Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if there is a way to simulate the kT/C noise and/or the 1/f noise? I'm using cadence Virtuoso with eldoD simulator or questa. If there is no way, should I satisfy with some basic hand written equations?? Thank you

cadence layout isn't the best for MEMS structures, other tools have been more aggressive in adding support for the weird (from an IC perspective) geometries. Why in simulation by using cadence, even a simple basic mixer also showing very high value. There is any setting or consideration? bcos in most of Journals they can achieve NF below 15dB, i have been tried many ways but NF can not achieve below 18dB. Please anyone help me. Thanks advance.
You could start with just what "didn't work" means. A result you didn't like, or failure to produce a result at all? bandgap / PTAT loops without explicit startup mechanisms, can easily converge in one testbench and fail in another, because when they start up they're doing so on "numerical noise" which depends on the circuit matrix and algorithm

Hi, With calculator, you have VN2(), wich plot the squared noise vs frequency. To obtain the output noise, just integrate over the desired bandwidth (iinteg), calculate the square-root, and here it is. You shoul find the same value as output->print->noise summary (be careful of units)
There's a opampmacro model in the functional library in cadence. Unfortunately, this does not have noise modeling. Is there a opamp model with that incorporates noise? Thanks.

If you want to see the noise at internal nodes and/or the noise contributions from internal devices, I guess you have to select them before.
