I guess India still uses old analog TV (ours is high-definition digital today). Is it ntsc or pal or Seq... (the French system)?

it depends how it connets. Like a said, an analogue ntsc or pal camera can be connected to a video decoder to make life easiest for you. Other cameras may need specific IP to interface to them (USB is very complicated, as is ethernet). As a beginner, I highly recommend the anaglogue option.
pal and ntsc (and SECAM) are different methods of encoding color. Is this what you want or is it a circuit that tells you if the standard is 625/50 or 525/60. Brian.

If you consider RF receiving capability front end (RF receiving units) have different designs. Means different tuner/analog demodulator part numbers are used for ntsc TVs and pal/SECAM TVs.
