Hi everybody I work on a DECT product that uses 2 batteries for power supply. When low batteries and on cradle, LCD keeps on blinking continuously, and measures of batteries level are wrong. Could it be due to quality of the batteries used? Any suggestion of the cause? Thx.

Hello, for the RF-Test of modern Transceiver Chips (Bluetooth, GPS, WLAN, etc.) the minimal receive power is specified as -145dBm (for example). Isnt it unrealistic to establish such low sinusoidal signals. I am thinking about our test equipment, and I cant believe that -145dBm is still above the noise floor. -145dBm = 3.16 E-15 mW = 3.

I use solderless breadboards with pics, no problem. Put a .1uF across the pic, nearest holes to the pic power pins. You don't need a fancy power supply. Any moderate qualtity supply should be fine. I use 7805 with only a .1uf cap and no 10uF.
