I think using USB conversion chips is the simplest way. You can use the FTDI chips for RS232 - USB conversion (FT232R), and a level converter for rs485 (SP481, MAX485, LDM485,). Look at: , on page 24.

Hi, I want to make an RS232 to rs485 converter that is half duplex. I use MAX232 and MAX485 for this. But I don't want to control CS pin of MAX485 at RS232 side. Is there any way to make this control automatic? PS: Baud rate can be from 300bps to 115200bps. Thank you.

I don't understand, where you want to put this capacitors? After DC/DC converter with galvanic isolation you have two EARTHs - one for rs485 interface and separate EARTH for processor.
