I have a periodic frequency selective surface in HFSS, my geometry is as follows: - vacuum box, where x and y surfaces are master/slave pairs - bottom boundary set as PEC - top boundary set as radiation boundary Inside this vacuum box there is the actual FSS, a dielectric (PCB) and a trace pattern on top. Doing a frequency sweep over thi
any thesis about electromagnetic bandgap, high impedance magnetic surface, frequency selective surface, master or doctoral thesis,i will be thanks for help me in my study of these issue in my work of high directive antenna or thus its name
Hi,my friends, I am designing the frequency selective surface (FSS) recently using HFSS. However, I don't know how to simulate the case where TE or TM waves are incident upon the infinitely-large FSS obliquely. Can anyone tell me how to setup the boundaries in the software?
Dear all I am an experienced engineer in the fabrication of frequency selective surfaces and high-impedance surfaces. If you have a design rather it is a PCB or printed structure and are ready to be fabricated. Why not let me handle this for you from as little as USD $10 excluding postage and board/dielectric materials. Price relates proporti
We know that CDMA and OFDMA are multiple access schemes. THey both are applicable in different scenarios. CDMA is used for flatfading channel..while OFDMA in frequency selective..bith are highly suitable in their environment..for example CDMA achieves channel capacity for MAC in flat fading channels..MC_CDMA is a combination of CDMA
Hi,bee it can work for frequency-selective channel but give poor performance ! MMSE is rely on statistic's property of channel if it not vary too fast (flat-fading) this kind of estimator can give verywell result. In frequency-selective channel it better if use somekind of adaptive filter to track the channel characteristic
Do you have this book? Frequency selective Surfaces: Theory and Design by Munk?
Hi, Do you want to use it for signal detection/equalization in fading channel? If yes for what kind of channel (I mean frequency selective/time varying or what?) state space equations depend on kind of application you want. so for different scenarios state space equation differ? regards
Laser looks as best option, and you can improve sensitivity of receiver by modulating laser output and build frequency selective receiver. There are integrated solutions that do this and laser does not have to be expensive, even keychain laser might do for your purpose. On receiving end measure phase and you should be able to get better than 2% acc
Is there any system requires the transmitter to send side information to the receiver? For example, in the reduction of PAPR in OFDM system, the selective mapping (SLM) method and partial transmit sequences (PTS) method require the side information. Is there any other design or system same as above?
Your problem seems backgroung light/reflection so change in in level is close to noise level and in addition it's hard to adjust level properly. You need modulated light as it's easier to build frequency selective detector. You can use integrated solution like TSOP7000 and pair it with coresponding transmitter. If you use laser and some optics you
hi ya , the followin is th code for a BER simulation of a modulated qpsk signal over a flat fading channel and my question is how can implement a frequency selective fading on it ( 2-ray ) from what i read it says i have to add a delay tau into the impulse reponse function h but am not exactly sure how to do that, any helo wud be appreciated guys t
Please can anyone tell me what does SVD function in MATLAB do to a rayleigh frequency selective fading channel. In OFDM simulation, the magnitude response is passed on to the svd function and it returns the matrix 'S' which is used further in the simulation... Can anyone please tell me the usage of this svd in OFDM simulation??? Does this gi
can any one please send the url of following MATLAB CODE SITES NEEDED FOR FILTER BANK APPLICATIONS iam working on ISI-Free FIR Filterbank Transceivers for Frequency-selective Channels, how can i proceed with this paper ,where can i find the matla codes for filter bank applications iam adding abstract of his one Abstract
i am working on ISI-Free Filter Banks for frequency selective channels, published in IEEE ,how can i get the code for that paper, can any one solve my problem IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON SIGNAL PROCESSING, VOL. 49, NO. 11, NOVEMBER 2001 ISI-Free FIR Filterbank Transceivers for Frequency-selective Channels authors: Yuan-Pei Lin, Mem
Antenna can be of "resonnant" and "non-resonnant" type. TV antenna is resonant. It is selective. Antenna elements dimensions depend on frequency. But overall antenna dimensions depend ollso on parameters like wanted gain and directivity. Try to search forum on this topics and you will find a lot of answers. Try some book.
I have a OFDM system in AWGN channel. However, I currently wanna run it thru frequency selective fading channel which is more realistic. Is there anyone can explain to me how and what I have to do?Or maybe any relevant tutorial about that? Thanks
hi stuff i'm ahmed from bhit i'm student in communication engineering in the final year ,and i nee ur help. i 'm making the final project in frequency selective surface (fss),so i made asimulation for the structure by hfss package but i couldn't get aresults,so plz i want asolved examples or aprocead
I am facing very fundamental problem in channel estimation in wireless communication. In channel estimation we usually find the impulse response of channel. But what will be the impulse response of frequency flat/selective fading channel (time varying/time invariant)? and how will it be different from impulse response of a non-fading (time va
Cyclic prefix is used to avoid intersymbol interference(ISI) which is a common phenonmenon in frequency selective channel. Usually length of the CP is kept greater or atleast equal to the length of the channel impulse response.
