Hello to all. I have built a pure sine wave inverter from 12v to 230v AC at aproximately 500W. The DC/DC converter is the usual forward converter with sg3525 and ETD39. It happens to have some sg3525 available and I need to quickly build a buck converter (48V -> 12V). Reading the datasheet, seems like there's no way to control a synchronous buck converter (since the outputs are not complementary). It could be done by putting both outputs in parallel then using an CMOS inverter for the complementary output.

Even without feedback, the MOSFETs shouldn't burn. That they do indicates that something's wrong (obviously, since the MOSFETs are burning). The first reason I can think of is cross-conduction. I think you're using sg3525. sg3525 allows you to provide some dead-time to prevent cross-conduction. Make use of that feature. Connect a resistor betwee

Go through the sg3525 datasheet. The resistor between Rt(pin 6) and ground, and the capacitor between Ct(pin 5) and ground set the frequency. Resistor between Rd (pin 7) and Ct (pin 5) sets deadtime. Have you decided which controller you'll use? SG3524, sg3525, microcontroller or something else? If you want to do it without center tap transformer, use full-bridge topology instead of push-pull. If the transformer primary voltage rating is 12V, secondary rating of 240V won't be enough. Hope this helps. Tahmid.
Feed the 555 output to a flip flop. Feedback the outputs of the flip flop a high/low side driver which will drive the four MOSFETs in the H-brigde. Why do you want to use the 555 chip? Can't you use sg3525 or SG3524 or TL494? Or even the CD4047?
you can acheived puresine wave using sg3525 bro, you have to use spwm to do that ok.
This one is famous and is tested by many others. But obviously, sg3525 cannot produce "pure sine". It produces modified sine through pwm. It is made pure to some extend by low pass filters.
