Are you doing custom analog or digital design? If it's custom design, there is no problem, you can use whatever you want. erikl is right. If you will use standard digital (or analog) cells that are characterized at 2.5V I would at least check their functionality for that power supply voltage first.
Thank you for the response. I thought on similar lines, that it has additional enhanced devices, Caps, Inductors, among others. To reach a conclusion could one probably say, that one particular device, lets say "standard Vt, General Purpose nMOS" would be same in an one particular cmos process between the "all digital" (...)
A temperature sensor with about 8 bits resolution digital outputs is needed. A circuit as simple as possible is appreciated. For example,chopper amp may be avoided in a PTAT bias generator if necessary. Thanks a lot!
