Hi All, I am making a VCO whose central frequency of oscillation is 2.5GHz . I ve been using MIMCAP_MM capacitors till now. But there are few RF capacitors also present in the UMC_18_CMOS library . Is there a need to go for those since my frequency of operation is high. Or will it do if I continue with the above mentioned MIMCAP_MM capacitors?

you are not the first person reporting issues in assura LVS with umc18 PDK, I do not have Assura so my help is limited in that area. It won't work even if you have umc18 lib. The io lef used in the tutorial is CIC version, not the original version. Maybe you have this io lef (CIC vesion) Can you share with us ?
I have ASIC lib tsmc13 and umc18 but their size are very big may be half of CDROM so that I can't upload to u. What can I send them to u because in Vietnam ADSL is very high low. Regards.
